Disc One: "B3 Care and Maintenance" by Alain Kahn (3 Hours) & Disc 2: "Watch and Practice..". (with Midi Files) by Bruno Micheli (3 Hours). The full range of today's Hammond organs are used, including the B3 Ultimo, the new B3, the XK3, the XK1 and the XM2. All are amplified using the Leslie 3300 cabinet. The DVDs also contains MIDI files, PDF files and photos. DVD One (Watch and Practice): Bruno Micheli show us some essential exercises for beginners, including left hand bass, the rudiments of foot pedal use, organist ricks and tips, the blues gospel turn around, traditional and modern jazz, rock and even a few tips for playing reggae. Every step is filmed from above and accompanied by the necessary midi files. The no-nonsense methodology is both visual and intuitive and is intended for all players of the Hammond organ. DVD Two (B3 Care and Maintenance): Alain Kahn completely strips down a B3 in order to clean and repair it, as well as making a few improvements on the original. All the important steps are filmed in close-up: cleaning the vibrato scanner, eliminating the notorious back caustic foam, replacing the key-combs and the keyboard felts, cleaning the generator and the drawbars and renewing the original wiring. All of this and more is made easy through watching "Hammond Inside" The full range of today's Hammond organs are used, including the B3 Ultimo, the new B3, the XK3, the XK1 and the XM2. All are amplified using the Leslie 3300 cabinet.
